A recent inventory of the contents on our kitchen floor included Cheerios, Kix, crackers, macaroni (our boys love those carbs), cheese, pieces of chicken, milk (of the skim and whole variety), sippy cups, wooden blocks, plastic blocks, other toys, and kitchen utensils. You never know what exactly will end up crushed and gooey on your socks, but you can guarantee those two boys will be underfoot. Walk with caution!
Rockets and robots and water balloons and tractors and bubbles and trains. These are what our little boys are made of. And they have made our lives so amazing.

What About Wyatt?
After all the Max-citement lately, Wyatt deserves his own post! He's developing his own sense of humor too (as you can see from the green cup picture below).

Glue Head
It doesn't have the same ring as "Stitch Head" - which was what Mom was called in the 1st grade when she slid on the bathroom floor, landed on the corner of the sink (smack between the eyes), and got a handful of stitches and a lifetime scar. And now Max shares that resemblance after falling at daycare and getting a gash between his eyes (how it happened isn't entirely clear). So after confirming with the pediatrician's office that he needed it have it closed up, we were off to the ER where - instead of stitches - they used derma-glue. Poor little dude, but it wasn't long until he was back to his goofball antics.

| Getting local anesthesia for the procedure. I told him he looked like a super-hero. |

| All smiles afterwards, with Spiderman stickers (another super-hero, just like him!). |

Mr. Goof Ball
Max is a funny little man on a regular basis. Below are some goof ball shots. Bear in mind that these were taken before his tumble at daycare and subsequent trip to the ER for a laceration between his eyes. It's just one of many scares that come with raising two active boys!

Handy Max
What better way to kick off the new year than with a manly project? That's exactly how Dad and Max spent New Year's Day - going to Home Depot and putting up a bird feeder. Max was all smiles in his work apron and light-up snow boots (never mind that there was absolutely no chance for snow - in fact, it was warm enough to go without coats. It's been a strangely mild winter!). Our new bird restaurant must have gotten a bad review because we don't get many customers!
