Rockets and robots and water balloons and tractors and bubbles and trains. These are what our little boys are made of. And they have made our lives so amazing.

A little springtime love
A little recap of a hot and cold April, which included weekly runs to Home Depot, keeping Target safe from the bad guys, many bedtime stories from Mama and Papa during their visit, and checking out springtime farm babies.

Walking with Papa
On a rare warm day in early April, Papa and Max went for a walk on a nearby trail. Virtually nothing had sprouted by then (what a slow spring this year!). Up the hill, and down the hill. Max mostly led the way, with Papa picking out good spots to take a break.

First "Sport" (Kind of)
We've officially entered a new phase of parenthood - organized sports. Well, as much as you can have any kind of organization or "sport" with a bunch of 4-year olds learning the basics of T-ball. Max's first practice was bitterly cold and windy, but that didn't seem to bother him (nor Wyatt, who tried his darnest to join in on the big boy fun).

Come and get it, birdies
April's Home Depot project was a bird feeder, which was perfect for the boys since they were avid fans of watching birds at our feeder this winter. The best part about this project was that Papa was around to help Max with the tough parts!

Obsess much?
Max overheard me telling Dad that I "need to iron a shirt for work tomorrow." The following ensured:
Max: "NO! I'm going to wear it."
Me: "What?"
Max: "The Ironman shirt."
(Note: Max does not even own an Ironman shirt, so obviously he gives a lot of thought to this super dude)
