No, Mom is NOT trying to get Max to grow up fast. In fact, she'd prefer that he stay a baby forever. But Max has shown interest in cups (for example, he likes to grab the cup we use to rinse him off during his baths), and Mom thought it might be a nice alternative to the bottle (which he doesn't particularly like). So he was introduced to Sippy today.
Rockets and robots and water balloons and tractors and bubbles and trains. These are what our little boys are made of. And they have made our lives so amazing.

Week 21 - Hot Baby
.
"FIRST" NEWS ALERT: Max rolled from front-to-back on April 17, 2009.
.
With temperatures expected to reach the upper 80s today, Max donned his first "warm weather" outfit: Land's End polo shirt and shortalls (from Great Uncle Verlyn and Great Aunt Marge in Wisconsin); Robeez elephant socks (from Heather in California; the matching elephant shoes are still a bit large); Taekwondo kick booties (from Bobby and Deanna in Ohio); and - of course, the ever-present accessory - a Target brand diaper (currently size 3). With so many fashion-forward friends across the country, it's easy to be the best dressed baby around.
Dad "eating" Max - yummy!
Dad "eating" Max - yummy! In typical unpredictable spring-weather fashion, last Sunday was cold. Dad bundled our little man up and blew bubbles for him on the patio. Dad couldn't do the one-armed hold for very long, declaring, "Boy, this baby is heavy." (Note: Max weighed 16 lbs, 2 oz at his 4-mo check-up on April 2)
