Late Nap or Early Bedtime?

With the warmer weather, Max has been on the go-go-go outside (while Wyatt often enjoys the view of the outside from the inside of our front door). The temp neared 80 degrees for the first time on Friday, so we treated ourselves to dinner in the enclosed patio. Max had a blast - if it were up to him, he'd eat and sleep out there! (and on the topic of sleep, keep reading...)

Wyatt practicing his pirate-eye squint. Argh, argh!

As mentioned above, Max loves being outside. With the great outdoors being just a door away at our house (instead of a door, down the hallway, down three flights of stairs, and down another hallway at our old apartment), he takes every chance he can to explore. Yesterday, he refused his nap and later went outside with Dad. When he came back in (which was against his will), Mom got him settled at the table with some joo-sh and started washing the dishes. A few minutes later, she was wondering why Max was unusually quiet. Turning around, she saw this:

At first, she thought Max was just looking at something out the window. But upon closer inspection, she determined that he was conked out. He slept for a solid 30 minutes in that position (and later, he migrated to the couch where he slept some more).
