Back on the Farm, Part I: Things that Go Vrooom and Boom

The boys became little farm hands during their month-long summer visit to Mama and Papa's place in July. A co-worker asked me, "So what do the kids do on the farm?"

Well, for starters, they rode things that went

vrooom-vroom!

And made things go 

boom!

And then there was the ice cream (and more ice cream), corn on the cob, a bigger sandbox, hay rides, a Mighty Bike, fishing poles, bubble guns, and dirt. Lots of dirt....

Wyatt was super excited when Dad set off the first fireworks.

Mom kept worrying someone was going to end up in the ER when Dad had the boys help light some Moon Whistlers.

And of course, Dad got it into his head to hold a lit roman candle in his hand.
