Month 11, Day 28 - Almost One

Barring any exciting events or "too cute not to post" pictures, this is likely to be Max's last blog before hitting the big "1" on Friday.

Our little man is now fond of making "scrunchy" faces, where he wrinkles up his nose. It's a face for all occasions - whether he's happy, ornery, or mad. Too bad he is not equally fond of us brushing his many teeth. He has another four whopping molars coming in at the same time!

Mom's handsome and happy guys: Max and Dad returning from daycare last night.

No, Max isn't opening a present early - he's actually helping Mom wrap up a birthday package that arrived from Mama and Papa Harr.

Speaking of his birthday, Grandma California made him an early birthday cupcake while she was visiting for Thanksgiving. (Thanks, Grandma, for flying out!)

Grandma California finds it hilarious that Max weighs so much. It must be all that cake!

Max's first "Goldfish" cracker. I guess he really is a big boy now.

Max trying to share a cracker with Dad.

After many failed attempts of sharing, Max settled on giving Dad a kiss.

Max enjoying some private time in his Dad-made tunnel. "Now, if I could only get this phone to work and call that girl I like at daycare..."

One of our rare family pictures, taken at a friend's birthday party.

A fitting picture for closing his last blog of his first year. What a year, our dear Max. What a year.
